Northridge Mall is proud to be a community partner. We strive to meet community challenges through a combination of employee volunteerism, financial support, in-kind donations and partnerships with non-profit organizations which have missions consistent with our vision and values.

Weekly After-School Program
Each Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30pm, children from throughout the community are invited to participate in our after-school program which gives local middle-school aged children an opportunity to be involved with a variety of activities. Members of the community are also invited to participate as instructors, allowing them to share skills, hobbies and activities that they feel would be beneficial to local children. Regular participating children attend from Salinas' Silver Star youth programs, giving at-risk children a safe alternative that keeps them involved in quality programming.

Contribution Requests 

Each year, Northridge Mall will contribute a preset amount of funds in the form of Gift Cards, merchandise and use of property to a diverse group of organizations. Hundreds of requests are anticipated each year. Donation recipients may include civil organizations' education programs; food banks; foundations; hospitals and healthcare organizations; youth programs; performing arts and museums and many more. Each request is reviewed carefully, however, not all requests can be granted.
